"Creature Teacher" Program at Anniston Museum of Natural History

Thursday, March 28, 2019

Parents if you are running out of fun and educational ideas for your children to do on spring break, the Anniston Museum of Natural History is hosting its “Creature Teacher” program for the whole family to enjoy. The Creature Teacher program educates visitors about the world’s animal kingdom and how important they are to their ecosystem.

Today, visitors learned about snakes and their purpose on earth. People were able to get up close and personal with the retile. Educational Interpreter, Cheyenne Strickland says she hopes this exhibit changed a lot of people’s perception about snakes.

The Anniston Museum houses a wide variety of live animals to enhance the exhibit halls. On Friday, March 29th, another Creature Teacher Program will be held with another animal. Entry to this program is included in the museum’s admission.
