City of Piedmont Agrees on Animal Control Solution

The Piedmont City Council has come to an agreement with the Calhoun County Animal Control regarding stray animals. WEIS Radio says that during a recent council meeting, the city agreed to offer Calhoun County Animal Control a monthly payment of $1,500 to accept an unlimited number of stray animals.

 

Piedmont’s Mayor Bill Baker says the city is going to be serviced as one of the municipalities in the county’s service area.
