Saturday, April 6, 2019

The Gadsden Public Library has just received a donation that weighs over 400 pounds. This donation will go towards helping those in the community who need it most. Bombas is a sock manufacturer that has vowed to donate a pair of socks every time someone buys a pair. So far, more than 10 million socks have been purchased which equals more than 10 million donated.

Socks are the most requested clothing item in homeless shelters and Bombas decided to create a sock that is specifically designed to meet the needs of the homeless community. Its darker colored socks are made especially for the homeless and cannot be purchased anywhere.

Director of the Gadsden Public Library, Craig Scott, decided to reach out to Bombas in an effort to better help members of the community. Scott says he’s already given away several pair of Bombas socks to those in need. He says they can truly tell the difference and are thankful to Bombas for their generous donation.
