Saturday, April 13, 2019

The Federal for Advanced Manufacturing Education program held an informational session for students looking to get a degree in Industrial Automation Technology. FAME is a free program that gives students the opportunity to attend classes while also working for one of the manufacturing companies through a partnership with Gadsden State.

Several of those companies include Fleetwood Metal, Koller Craft, Kronospan, and more. This program created by East Alabama Works will allow students to obtain Associate Degree’s, hands on professional training, and more.

Webb adds that each company will pay its students $12 an hour during the three workdays. If you are interested in the FAME Program, submit your application by visiting the website shown on your screen.
