Several residents in Glencoe spent the majority of their day today cleaning up what is left of their homes after an early morning storm swept through on Sunday. At least six homes suffered extensive damage near Rabbittown Road in Glencoe.
The National Weather Service have performed Storm Sight Surveys to determine if it was straight line wind damage or a tornado that touched down in the area. Operations and Planning Specialist, Josh Tanner says he is thankful there were no injuries.
Wayne Prince has lived in his home off Rabbittown Road for nearly 18 years. His home suffered extensive water damage among other things. Prince was home alone around the time of the storm and says although the storm destroyed his house and most of his belongings, he’s thankful to be unharmed.
