Gadsden State Community College hosted a public ribbon cutting ceremony for its newly renovated Fine Arts Center. Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center is the largest theater of its type in Northeast Alabama. Since opening in 1968, its hosts ballets, local recitals, high school graduations, and more. The Fine Arts Centers is also the home of Characters Performing Arts which is a theatrical company.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Gadsden-Etowah Chamber of Commerce, the Gadsden State Jazz Band and Singers performed a variety of music selections in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month. General Manager Molly Page says she is very pleased at how well the renovations complement the building.

Page says she’s excited for the community to see the newly renovated facility and is looking forward to hosting more theatrical shows, graduations, and more.
