Four Arrested for Attempting to Elude Officers in Cherokee County

Four people from Tennessee were arrested in Cherokee County over the weekend following a high speed chase. According to WEIS Radio, the chase began in Summerville, Georgia as officers were responding to a shoplifting incident.

 

Cherokee County Deputies joined the chase on Highway 68, just before the driver of the vehicle crashed in between several small trees in the Gaylesville area. Mykia and Tavarus Crutcher, Adriana Christian, and Tywan Hatcher were taken into custody and charged with Fugitive from Justice and Attempting to Elude.

 

Their bond is set at $1,500 each before they will be released to face additional charges in Chattooga County, Georgia.
