Man Arrested on Unlawful Possession Charges

K-9 Units from several Cherokee County Police Departments performed drug sweeps through four county high schools on Thursday. During the sweep, officers made one arrest.

 

WEIS Radio reports that 18-year-old Michael Cox was arrested at Sand Rock High School for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and second degree Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

 

Cox was taken to the Cherokee County Detention Center where he was booked and released on a $1,000 bond.
