Reckless Endangerment Arrest in Gadsden

A Gadsden woman is accused of running from law enforcement officers while having two children in her vehicle and nearly striking a person crossing the road.  According to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Florisha Wilson was driving on Hoke Street when agents attempted to stop her. During the chase, Wilson got out of the vehicle as it was moving as an attempt to run from deputies.

 

She was quickly caught and arrested and deputies were able to put the vehicle in park and safely remove the two children. Agents found methamphetamine in Wilson’s possession in addition to her having six felony warrants throughout Etowah County. She is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond and is charged with Attempting to Elude, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Reckless Endangerment.
