Alabama's 3rd Congressional District Art Competition

More than 80 high school students displayed their art work in the 2019 Third District Congressional Art Competition at the Isabel Anderson Comer Museum and Arts Center. Congressman Mike Rogers attended the competition to award the top five winners. Rogers says he was truly impressed with the artwork of all the students. Icie Williams, a 9th grade student who is home schooled, took first place for her artwork titled, “The Goldfish.” Williams’ artwork will be displayed in the walkway leading to the US Capitol for one year.
