Jacksonville High School Ranked Best in County


Jacksonville High School has been named “Best High School in Calhoun County.” The US News and World Report recently released its national and statewide high school rankings. In addition to being named the best in the county, Jacksonville high school is also ranked 33rd in the state.

According to USNews.com, the JHS advanced placement course participation rate is 54%, it’s graduation rate is at 92% with a student to teacher ratio of 16 to 1. Out of more than 17,000 high schools ranked nationally, Jacksonville is ranked in the top 3,000.

Oxford High School is ranked as the second best in Calhoun County and number 40 in the state.
