US Economy Adds 263,000 Jobs in April

The US unemployment rate has fallen to the lowest rate it has been in 50 years as hundreds of thousands of jobs were added last month. In addition to the unemployment rate falling to 3.6% and more than 260,000 jobs being added in April, wages have also risen.

The average hourly worker makes 3.2%more than they did a year ago. 33,000 construction jobs were added, 27,000 people secured healthcare jobs, and restaurants and bars added 25,000 workers. This marks the month of April as the 103rd straight month of overall job growth.
