United Way Receives Honda Pilot as a Gift from Honda Manufacturing

A non-profit organization that focuses on strengthening families, helping children become productive citizens, and ensuring senior citizens maintain their independence has received a huge gift from a major supporter. United Way of Etowah County recently received a Honda Pilot Van from Honda Manufacturing of Alabama during its annual luncheon. The Honda was donated so that United Way could use it for agency tours during campaigns and allocations.

During the United Way annual luncheon, community leaders and businesses were also awarded for their hard work and dedication towards making Etowah County a better community. Ray Smith was presented with the “Tom McKenzie Community Impact Award.” Keystone Foods received the “Excellence is Service Award” and the Gadsden Runners Club received the “Rising Star award.”
