Sacred Art of Buddhism Exhibit at Anniston Museum
When Col. Farley Berman was alive, visitors to his home in east Anniston never knew what they might find when they walked into a room. A rifle owned by the czar of Russia, perhaps, or Hitler’s tea service.
The museum that bears his name has inherited his eclectic collection and uses it to put together temporary exhibits based around a unifying theme. The newest exhibit, which opens today, is called The Sacred Art of Buddhism. Collections Assistant Susan Doss describes what visitors will see when they tour this exhibit.
Doss says the museum plans to keep The Sacred Art of Buddhism exhibit open for about five months.
