Ted's Abbey Carpet and Floor Honors Officers During Police Week

As National Law Enforcement Appreciation week continues, one local business has gone above and beyond to show their support towards area officers. Ted’s Abbey Carpet and Floor in Anniston has invited law enforcement officials in Calhoun County to stop by and have breakfast and lunch during National Police Week.

When officers arrive, they are greeted with smiles, gifts, and good conversation. Anniston Police Sergeant Randy Grier says it feels good to know that local officers are appreciated. Officers who stop by Ted’s Abbey Carpet and Floor also sign up to win a free iPad, get their photos taken and more.

Manager Kathy Gregerson believes that community support and involvement is very important. This is the business’ first year participating in National Police Week and Gregerson says she looks forward to participating for more years to come.
