Perdue Recalls 31,000 Pounds of Chicken

Perdue Foods is recalling more than 31,000 pounds of its “Ready to Eat” chicken products due to possible bone material contamination. According to the US Department of Agriculture, the problem was discovered through consumer complaints. Although there have been no reports of injuries or adverse reactions, Perdue is recalling the chicken out of an abundance of caution.

The “Ready to Eat” chicken being recalled was produced on March 21st and shipped to stores across the Country. You are encouraged to check your freezer for the recalled product and throw it away or return it to the store of purchase.
