Chemical Castration Bill
A bill that would require child molesters over the age of 21 to get chemical castration has passed the state legislature and now awaits its final signature from Governor Kay Ivey. This bill would be part of a condition of parole.
Convicted sex offenders who have abused a child younger than 13 would have to undergo chemical castration before leaving prison. The castration would be performed in order to prevent them from harming children again in the future.
