Keith Kadle Named as New Fire Chief in Jacksonville


There’s a new chief in town. After 20 months of serving as interim Chief for the Jacksonville Fire Department, Keith Kadle has permanently filled the position. The new fire chief has been serving the citizens of Jacksonville for 35 years and has truly enjoyed every minute of it.

Chief Kadle says he has big plans for the department and looks forward to continuing to help develop fire men and women into being the best that they can be. Chief Kadle tells TV24 that he also enjoys teaching children about fire prevention. Chief Kadle is still working 24-hour shifts with plans to switch over to eight-hour shifts on June 12th.
