More than 246,000 pounds of breakfast wraps are being recalled due to pieces of material inside them. El Monterey Frozen Breakfast Wraps are being recalled across the country because they may contain pieces of material including small rocks inside them. The recall is for the eight-pack family size of the egg, potato, bacon, and cheese wrap.
According to Ruiz Foods Products, the wraps were made in January with a “Best if Used by” date of January 17th and 18th of 2020. The USDA says Ruiz Foods has received three consumer complaints about the wraps. If you have these El Monterey Breakfast Wraps in your freezer, throw them away or return them to the store.
