Former White Plains HC Chris White Hired at Handley

Chris White has left his post as the head coach at White Plains and will take over as an assistant at Handley High School. The Roanoke City School Board approved White as the Tigers new offensive line coach and head coach of the softball program. He led the Wildcats for the last four seasons as a head coach and they improved each of the last three seasons.

The move to Handley reconnects White with Coach Larry Strain. The two met and worked with each other when Strain was the head coach at White Plains for the 2014 season. White says the two had a great working relationship which added to the allure of joining the Handley staff.
