The teenager involved in the two-vehicle accident that killed Auburn University’s sports announcer and his wife was recently charged with manslaughter due to evidence received from a toxicology report.
According to the Auburn Police Department, 16-year-old Johnston Taylor was under the influence of Marijuana when his Jeep Grand Cherokee ran into the back of a Toyota Highlander occupied by Roderick Bramblett Junior and his wife Paula on May 25th. Officials also confirmed that Taylor was driving at a high speed well over the posted 55 miles-per-hour speed limit when the crash occurred. Taylor is being charged as an adult and was transported to the Lee County Jail. He was later released on a $50,000 bond.
