Packaged Vegetable Recall Due to Possible Listeria Contamination


Check your freezer; several packaged vegetable products have been recalled due to possible bacteria contamination. According to the Food and Drug Administration, Green Giant, Trader Joe’s, and Signature Farms Packaged vegetables are all a part of this recall. The products that are affected include butternut squash, cauliflower, zucchini, and vegetable bowls.

Listeria can cause food poisoning symptoms and can be fatal to children, pregnant women, and senior citizens. No canned vegetables have been a part of this recall. If you have any of these items inside your freezer, you are encouraged to throw them away or return them to the store of purchase.
