During the Fourth of July holiday, AAA of Alabama wants to eliminate intoxicated partygoers from getting behind the wheel by offering free services across the state. “Tow-for-Life” is a public service program that provides free towing in order to keep impaired drivers off the road. The program has been in service for 33 years and is available for AAA members and non-members.
The company believes that it’s important to make arrangements before you go out so you aren’t making certain decisions once you’re impaired. The program will begin at 6pm on Thursday and continues until 6am on Friday. To receive free towing on July fourth, call 1-800-222-4357 and give the operator your name, home address, phone number, and the exact location of your vehicle. Once the tow truck has arrived, the driver will ask for your identification and keys to your vehicle which will then be towed to your home.
