A financial institution that has been a part of the Talladega community for 30 years has opened a new location to help better serve its members. The ribbon has officially been cut for America’s First Federal Credit Union’s new location off East Battle Street in Talladega. The branch relocated to a new building in order to provide its customers with more space to do business, more ATMs, and drive-thru teller lanes that were not at the previous location. Customers also have the option of using an interactive teller machine that can make transactions through a video monitor at your convenience.
With business causing the credit union to significantly outgrow its former location, Community Engagement Officer, Jody Mattson describes the relocation process being worth the wait, and Talladega Mayor Jerry Cooper believes this is a home run for the community. Mattson also tells TV24 that this financial institution looks forward to serving the residents of Talladega for another 30 years.
