Military Families at Higher Risk of Being Victims of Fraud

Saturday, July 27, 2019

According to findings from the Better Business Bureau, military families are at higher risk for fraud. Relocation forces the families to make quicker purchasing decision than the general population.

Moving to new locations also makes it more difficult for spouses and other family members to find secure, and stable employment. Military consumers report losing about $200 when falling victim to a scam, which is 32% higher than the $152 reported by consumers in 2018.
