Two North Alabama Women Charged with Reckless Endangerment
Two north Alabama women are charged with leaving a baby inside a hot car. Angela Dobbins and Anita Dobbins were arrested this week and charged with reckless endangerment. Scottsboro police say officers were called to Walmart about an 8 month old baby inside a locked car in the parking lot.
The baby was inside the car for about 15 minutes while the outside temperature reached 89 degrees. Officers broke a window to get the baby out of the locked car. Police say the baby was treated at the scene and was doing fine. According to authorities, Angela is the baby’s grandmother and Anita is the baby’s aunt. The Department of Human Resources is investigating this case.
