Oxford Police Chief Sworn in for Second Term as President of AACOP
A local police chief participated in a ceremony in South Alabama as he accepted another term representing all chief’s throughout the state. Oxford Police Chief Bill Partridge was recently sworn in for a second term as President of the Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police.
Founded in 1972, the AACOP aims to improve the quality and professionalism of law enforcement in the state. The organization represents more than 350 Chiefs of Police while providing cutting edge training, education, and networking opportunities to more than 500 law enforcement executive members.
