With two weeks before the start of the high school football season, we turn our attention to Ohatchee. The Indians enjoyed a very successful season in their return to Class 2A. Ohatchee finished 11-1 with their only loss coming at eventual state champion Fyffe in the state quarterfinal round. The Indians lost a lot of talent including QB Grayson Alward and RB Cam McCombs (both first team All-State selections), but there is a lot of experienced players returning including RB Domonique Thomas. The senior has rushed for more than 2,800 yards in two seasons and has scored 39 rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns. Thomas was a first team All-State selection and he's ready to build on the team's success along with wingback Ryker Lambright who will provide a balanced rushing attack.
