Climate Change Could Affect Food Supplies in Farming Regions

Tuesday, August 13, 2019

A new report from the United Nations panel says food could become limited, less nutritious, and more expensive due to the climate change.

The study discovered that some areas will be too hot for farmers to grow different kinds of crops. While other climates will see more flooding, snow, and moisture in the air, which will also limit what can be grown.

The report says emissions need to be lowered to keep the earth from warming.
