A business that has served the people of Jacksonville for more than 50 years has reopened after being under construction since the tornado. The K.L. Brown Funeral Home is now open for business after 90% of the building had to be stripped down from the inside due to the extensive damage suffered from the March 19th tornado.
Although the exterior is still the same, the inside of the building has been repurposed. Owner Craig Bodiford says it's been a challenging 17 months and he’s now ready to give back to the community that has done so much for his business.
Bodiford says he is appreciative of the positive feedback he’s received from the community.
