Friday, August 16, 2019

A construction company based in Birmingham won the contract for the new courthouse that will be built in downtown Anniston. Now, local businesses are wanted in the area to satisfy a large portion of the construction project.

The Alabama P-TAC at Jacksonville State along with the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center invited all construction related business owners to learn about sub-contract opportunities that will be available related to the $42 million courthouse project.

B.L. Harbert International will construct the 63,000 square foot building with the help from local businesses that can supply certain needs. Some capabilities needed are site prep, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and cleaning.

If you are interested in learning more about the sub-contract opportunities, contact Lindsay Frey through the email shown above or at 256-782-5322 to reserve your spot at the next informational meeting.
