Heart Disease Related Death Rates on the Rise

New research shows that more Americans are dying from heart disease and other cardio metabolic risks. Death certificates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s database were analyzed and doctors who reviewed them were concerned about the findings.

Death rates from high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, and heart disease are on the rise after nearly two decades. Researchers are also worried about the difference between gender and ethnicity related to this study that showed black men having the highest rates of heart related deaths in the country.
