The Consumer Product Safety Commission wants to inform parents of a recall involving millions of children’s water bottles. Contigo kids cleanable water bottles are being recalled for a choking hazard. Officials say the silicone spout can detach and be dangerous for children.

So far, the company has received 149 complaints, 18 of those incidents in which the spout was found in the child’s mouth. However the recall only applies to 13, 14, and 20 ounce bottles that have the black color spout base and cover. Parents can contact Contigo for a free replacement lid.
