GM Recalls Over 3 Million Trucks & SUVs for Brake Problem

General Motors is recalling nearly 3.5 million pick-up trucks and SUVs to fix a brake problem. According to GM, there have been more than 100 accidents and 13 injuries related to this brake issue. A faulty vacuum pump may be forcing drivers to put more pressure on the brakes.

The vehicle may also need a longer distance to stop, which can increase the risk of accidents. Vehicles recalled include 2014 through 2018 models of the Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon and Sierra, Chevrolet’s Silverado, Suburban and Tahoe. GM says dealerships will fix the problem at no charge to customers.
