Sunday Alcohol Sales Motion Failed in Centre

The motion to approve Sunday alcohol sales within the city limits of Centre failed to pass during Tuesday’s council meeting.

In order to send the ordinance into law, a majority vote is required. Centre Mayor Tony Wilkie says the ordinance will be up for revote within the next two weeks.
