Gadsden State Hosting Mental Health Conference
A conference designed to provide communities with educational training in the mental health service field will soon be coming to Gadsden State Community College. Alabama Area Health Education Centers along with Gadsden Regional Medical Center and Gadsden State’s Continuing Education Department will be sponsoring a Mental Health Conference and the public is invited to attend.
The conference will be held October 18th beginning at 8 a.m. at Helderman Hall Auditorium at Gadsden State’s Wallace Drive Campus. Seminar topics will include Autism and behavior, mental health treatment and resources for veterans and much more. The fee to attend the conference is $25 if you pre-register or $35 at the door. Lunch will be provided.
