Three Suspects Wanted in Burglary of Centre Clothing Store

Employees working at a clothing store in Centre were pepper sprayed as they attempted to stop three shoplifters from getting away with a significant amount of store items. Although one of the suspects has been identified, the Centre Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating the other people involved in the incident.

WEIS Radio reports that one black male and two black females stole $2,300 worth of merchandise from Goody’s clothing store in the Cherokee Plaza Monday afternoon. Employees were able to obtain the tag number off the “getaway vehicle” and officers later matched the vehicle registration to 30-year-old Tomeka Bryant of Jefferson County.

If anyone has information regarding Bryant’s current whereabouts or the other two people involved in the robbery, you are encouraged to call the Centre Police Department at 256-927-3661.
