The Jacksonville State football team is entering this week with something to prove. The road has been unkind to the Gamecocks with losses at Southeastern Louisiana and Austin Peay. In those defeats, JSU has given up 31 points off turnovers and 425 yards of offense (on average). They understand they will need to improve their play on the field, but come with a business-like attitude from the beginning.

The Gamecocks and Panthers hook up in Charleston, Illinois Saturday at NOON… The game will air on ESPN+.
