Two more people have been taken into custody in connection to the string of vehicle break-ins in Cherokee County. Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver says that Eric Hooper and Devon Hill both of Collinsville have each been charged with 12 counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering into a motor vehicle and five counts of Theft of Property. Hill was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.

These arrests stem from several investigations into multiple vehicle break-ins that took place last week near homes on Highway 411 and County Roads 16, 19, 83, and 148. So far, four people have been arrested in connection to these break-ins. Hill and Hooper are currently being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center and their bonds have yet to be set.
