HS Football Awards - Week 7

Here are the weekly winners after another week of high school football region competition.

 

KFC-Pigskin Roundup Team of the Week: Lincoln
The Golden Bears went on the road and earned a hard-fought victory over Handley 34-30. The Bears fell behind 30-7 and reeled off 27 unanswered points to win. Lincoln improves to 5-2 overall and 4-0 in region play. The victory also means the entire team and coaching staff will enjoy the Team of the Week chicken dinner as well as the t-shirts provided by KFC.

 

RMC Player of the Week: AJ Brown, Anniston RB
The RMC Player of the Week is Anniston running back AJ Brown. Brown rushed 19 times for 211 yards and had three touchdowns on runs of 1, 18, and 47 yards in Anniston's 56-27 win over White Plains. He and the rest of the Bulldogs back on the road this Friday night to face Oneonta in another Class 4A Region 6 battle.
