Centre Man Indicted for Attempted Murder
A Centre man has been indicted on an Attempted Murder charge by a Cherokee County Grand Jury relating to a shooting that took place back in June. WEIS Radio reports that Anthony Gilreath is inside the Cherokee County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond for his alleged involvement in a shooting that took place at a home on County Road 22 in the Kirk’s Grove Community in June.
The victim of the shooting suffered several gunshot wounds and fortunately survived. Two other people in Georgia have also been indicted on Attempted Murder charges for their alleged involvement. Investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting.
