3-Year-Old Birmingham Girl Still Missing and Search Continues
The search continues for 3-year-old Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney who was abducted Saturday night from a birthday party in Birmingham. Earlier today, authorities followed up on a tip they received stating that McKinney was seen at an apartment complex less than 10 miles from where she was taken from. Authorities searched every apartment building and vehicle but there were no signs of Kamille.
Birmingham Police have two persons of interest in this high profile case. Police arrested Patrick Stallworth and Derrick Brown Sunday and have been questioning both about the little girl. Police Chief Patrick Smith, says that so far, they have not found any connection between McKinney’s family and Stallworth and Brown; however, both are being held in jail on unrelated charges. Child pornography was found on Stallworth’s cellphone and Brown is being held on a probation revocation.
As the Amber Alert has expanded into neighboring states, Chief Smith says he has high hopes for Kamille’s safe return. A $20,000 reward is now being offered in exchange for information leading to the location of Kamille, and the capture and conviction of those who are involved in her disappearance.
