Walmart Sausage Patty Recalls

Walmart is recalling more than 6,400 pounds of its “Great Value Ready-to-eat Pork and Turkey Sausage Patties over concerns of possible salmonella contamination. According to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food and Safety Inspection Service, the products were meant to be disposed of after a small group of them tested positive for salmonella, but the products were accidentally shipped nationwide.

 

The packaged patties have a “Best if Used By” date of October 24th through November 5th. So far, Walmart says there have been no reported illnesses of injuries.
