JSU Respiratory Therapy Program Takes Part in Educating on the Dangers of Vaping

As the dangers of vaping continue to rise across the country, a group of college students are working together to help other students “Escape the Vape.” Students enrolled in JSU’s Respiratory Therapy Program are taking part in National Respiratory Care Week by sharing the dangers of vaping and encouraging people to turn in their vaping devices.

Ed Goodwin, Director of the Respiratory Therapy Program, says there is a large amount of students on campus who use vaping devices and are not aware of the consequences. Goodwin says that it was his students’ idea to create the vaping campaign to go along with National Respiratory Care Week and he hopes that the information provided during this campaign will help other students realize the true dangers of vaping.
