Piedmont High School’s Principal, Doctor Adam Clemons was in for a surprise today as he was honored by students, faculty, and staff for being named Alabama High School Principal of the Year by the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools.

Doctor Clemons had no idea he had been chosen for this award. But, what made it so special was the love and appreciation he received from the Piedmont community. Clemons was named one of  three finalists for the award in November of last year after being interviewed by the committee. He says he’s thankful, honored, and humbled to be chosen as Principal of the Year.
