Voters in Line for Primary Elections in Savannah, GA

These were the voting lines in Savannah, Georgia today as voters were at the polls for Primary Day. Several other states including Nevada and South Carolina also held primary elections today. Georgia and Virginia were forced to move their primary elections to this later date in June because of the pandemic. Given the extra time, a widespread number of Georgia’s poll workers still experienced voting machine malfunctions. Some precincts have had to switch to paper ballots and some have even run out.
